Please note: Rain dates would be for the following days (Sunday for Saturday pulls, Wednesday for Tuesday pulls).

Friends of Lake Warner Partners with the Connecticut River Conservancy to advance water chestnut eradication.


This year, the Friends of Lake Warner will benefit from a new partnership with the Connecticut River Conservancy (CRC). The Connecticut River Conservancy (CRC) restores and advocates for clean water, healthy habitats, and resilient communities to support a diverse and thriving watershed from source to sea in the Connecticut River watershed.


The CRC will manage all aspects of the water chestnut pulls including registration of volunteers and coordination of the pulls on the lake. See the dates for scheduled pulls
nearby.

We recommend that volunteers bring:

•Hat

•Sunscreen

•Sunglasses

•Water

•An extra layer for chilly weather

•Clothes that can get wet and dirty (and a change of clothes in the car just in case)

•Closed-toed shoes or water shoes (no crocks or flip-flops but secured sandals are ok)

•A boat and paddles (unless you specified otherwise during registration)

•PFD (there are some available on site if you don’t have one)

•Optional: work gloves (example, gardening gloves)
