Research shows that spending time outdoors is beneficial to everyone’s mental and physical health. Spending time in nature has been proven to help build a stronger immunity, lower anxiety, increased energy, and productivity. Moreover, a recent study for children shows that spending time outdoors is essential for children’s emotional well being and learning – with a general recommendation of children spending at least 4 to 6 hours outside every day. The Friends of Lake Warner & the Mill River strive to maintain the lake and the surrounding areas so that people of all ages can receive the wellness benefits of having better access to outdoor recreation and a fuller appreciation of the natural world.
Every donation to Lake Warner makes a big impact to our efforts to improve the conditions and maintain the lake and surrounding lands and allowing for the area to continue to be a place of tranquility, refuge, wonder, enjoyment, and outdoor recreation for many years to come. We thank you so much for your generous donation to the lake – and thanks for partnering with us to create a more beautiful and sustainable future.
